SUMMARY:
Get2gether is a social platform that seeks to simplify the process of casual social planning. Statistics show that nearly two-thirds of Americans are now smartphone owners, and for many these devices are a key entry point to the online world. Around 93% of these young adults use text messages or instant messaging platforms to make plans with their friends.

SOLUTION:
The g2g app combines standard messaging technologies with artifcial intelligence powered virtual assistants to understand the context of conversations — helping to facilitate, how,
when and where to meet with friends. The app
seamlessly integrates with third party calendars, ride-share, and restaurant reservation platforms to help create a seamless, integrated experience for the end-user. Click Here to sign up to receive updates on our beta releases.

User surveys and interviews helped me understand users’ social planning process
and pain points. I developed a narrative and set of key messages that expand on
what makes G2g different from its competitors across markets.

The use of wireframes, user flows and user testing helped me understand a users
entry point within the app, taking them through a set of steps or goals that lead
them towards a successful outcome.

I developed a visual language to guide G2g and its communication strategies.
The design language makes it easy for millions to plan social events in a seamless,
integrated fashion.

Working side by side with engineering paid off. Along the way, we ran into issues,
but we iterated and QA'd our own efforts, and were able to demo our efforts to our
beta testers at the end of each release.

Collaborating with fellow classmates in NYU’s UX Advanced Studio course allowed
me to gain some very insightful feedback on ways to improve the platforms
functionality. This qualitative feedback provided me with a better understanding
of the features in which users encounter problems and experience confusion.
