I introduced a human-centered design process by identifying customer archetypes and
key journeys, and leveraged these findings to develop a set of design principles that have
been adopted company-wide.
The word "braze" is a verb that means welding 2 different elements together with a third
alloy.It's the energizing, galvanizing new element to complete a composition. Braze joins
with other technologies to create a best-in-class stack, helping brands bring data
together through an open ecosystem.
In collaboration with resources from the product, engineering, marketing and executive
teams, I conceptualized a light, playful UI treatment, which is reflective of the companies
core values and principles.
The Braze dashboard allows customers to create personalized messaging campaigns
that reflect their interests, location, past purchases, and more. I built out a set of
iconography that was consistent and reflective of the Braze brand in an attempt to
conform to the platform's core principles.
Liann and I worked collaboratively to investigate ways to humanize this experience for our
customers — a true demonstration of cross-disciplinary and collaborative work. We attempted
to create visual components which would allow for more customization and scalability.
